About
About Our Nanny and Babysitter Agency
Jovie places nannies, babysitters, and backup childcare across Westchester County in New York and four Connecticut counties. Every caregiver is our employee, screened and trained before they meet a family.
What we do
Childcare Families Can Rely On
Families come to us for three reasons: a nanny for the school year, a sitter for the evenings and weekends their own plans do not cover, or childcare their employer offers. All three are served by the same caregivers and the same screening.
The difference
Who Employs the Caregiver
Most agencies in these towns introduce somebody and step back, which makes the family the employer.
Our caregivers work for us, so payroll, taxes, insurance, and everything that follows stay on our side. When a family needs a full-time nanny we advertise and hire for that specific role, because a caregiver who already has a placement cannot take a new full-time job. The nanny you choose joins our payroll for your placement.
Where we work
Counties We Serve
Each county page lists the towns it covers and the office behind it.
Westchester County, NY
Full-time nannies, part-time sitters, and backup care across every town in Westchester County, from the Sound Shore up through the northern county line.
Fairfield County, CT
Nannies and sitters across Fairfield County, from the Gold Coast towns on the Sound through the northern hills.
New Haven County, CT
Nannies, sitters, and backup childcare across New Haven County and the shoreline towns.
Hartford County, CT
Nannies, sitters, and employer backup childcare across Hartford County.
Middlesex County, CT
Nannies and sitters across Middlesex County and the lower Connecticut River valley.
Caregivers work here as employees, with taxes and payroll handled, paid training before the first family, and an office to call. Full-time nanny roles are advertised and hired for one specific family, so you can apply for a placement you have read about.
