Families come to us for three reasons: a nanny for the year, a sitter for the evenings and weekends their own plans do not cover, or childcare their employer offers. All three run through the same recruiting and the same screening.

The difference

How the Hiring Works

Most families here want a nanny of their own, hired by them and working for them.

So we work as a hiring agency for those roles. We write the role with the family, advertise it, and put every candidate through interviews, references, background checks, and training before anyone is introduced. The family hires the nanny they pick. A family who would rather we held the employment can have that instead, at a significantly higher hourly rate. Sitters, backup childcare, and event caregivers are our own employees, on our payroll, ready to send.
